P.O.R.N. Diets

I am coining this term as I feel some of the diets out there are so radical they need to be discussed in one place.

We here from our favorite celebrities daily and some of us live for this. We follow them on Twitter, talk about them on Bebo and MySpace or e mail each other about them especially when a new diet is talked about.

There have been some over the top radical diets in the past like the 'Air diet', not a very popular one for obvious reasons unlike the 'Chocolate' diet. Then there is the more main stream 'Atkins' diet or 'The Dash Diet' or even 'The South Beach Diet'. All have there plus and minus points and their advocates and nay sayers as well.

The trick when it comes to diets if there is a trick in selecting one would be to thoroughly research the topic. The mere fact that there literally are thousands of diets commercially available shown on television, billboards or even your local Chemist shop.

Here will be many, many articles pertaining to the topic of P.O.R.N. Diets circulating our media and your opinion on them is most welcome. Maybe you have been on one and would like to praise it or maybe warn others away from it. Whatever you may like to share, diet related, please do.

Do the Secret Weight Loss Products Work?

Why there are so many weight loss programs out there which are marketed as being secrets to weight loss? Let's look at these secrets a little closer.

Too many people fall for the rather dubious advertising methods used by these products and throw their money away. However you can understand why this happens.

Sheer desperation is the cause. People who are desperate for something will often believe anything that is presented in a certain way. Weight loss companies know this and manipulate the situation.

There is no real mystery behind losing weight. Do you really believe that you are being lied to about weight loss, and that some small weight loss company has found a secret way that nobody else knows about? How kind of some of these companies to share this mystery with the general public. However you will have to pay for this secret.

There are 2 actions that are required to lose weight. These are exercise, and making changes to your diet. There is nothing more! There's the secret, I won't even bill you for it. It's fine, I don't need any thanks.

Real weight loss happens by using a logical approach. Learn what you need to do and then keep doing it. Give yourself the time that your body will need to change itself. Forget yo yo dieting or anything else that says you can drop 10 pounds a week. You will end up disappointed, and you have probably already had a few disappontments, so you certainly don't need any more.

Find some good solid information that makes sense to you. and stay with this for a few months. The goal should be to lose a couple of pounds a week. Try to over reach yourself and it will only end in you no longer being able to lose weight. Quick weight Loss is impossible to sustain for your body. Try to lose around a couple of pounds each week as this can be sustained.

Don't go overboard with reducing calories. Don't ever aim for more than a 15% drop in your daily calorie intake. Clearly you should be looking at foods which are more healthier. This doesn't mean those prepackaged health foods sold in supermarkets. It means consuming more vegetables and fruits.

You will lose weight if you find the right information and ignore the miracle weight loss secrets that are designed to take away your money and leaves your weight loss goals in tatters.
