P.O.R.N. Diets

I am coining this term as I feel some of the diets out there are so radical they need to be discussed in one place.

We here from our favorite celebrities daily and some of us live for this. We follow them on Twitter, talk about them on Bebo and MySpace or e mail each other about them especially when a new diet is talked about.

There have been some over the top radical diets in the past like the 'Air diet', not a very popular one for obvious reasons unlike the 'Chocolate' diet. Then there is the more main stream 'Atkins' diet or 'The Dash Diet' or even 'The South Beach Diet'. All have there plus and minus points and their advocates and nay sayers as well.

The trick when it comes to diets if there is a trick in selecting one would be to thoroughly research the topic. The mere fact that there literally are thousands of diets commercially available shown on television, billboards or even your local Chemist shop.

Here will be many, many articles pertaining to the topic of P.O.R.N. Diets circulating our media and your opinion on them is most welcome. Maybe you have been on one and would like to praise it or maybe warn others away from it. Whatever you may like to share, diet related, please do.

Dieting To Tone Abdominal Muscles

By Frank Powell

Toning ab muscles is probably a very hot subject among adults and even among younger individuals. In order to tone those stubborn muscles in your abdominal area, you must exercise consistently and you need to keep your body fats low enough. You need to perform exercises that are meant to tone the abs and you must do it without fail.

Many people feel the shame of having a huge belly gut, while others are blessed to have nice flat abs with no effort on their part. If you have that huge belly that we all dread, then you currently have a layer of fat surrounding your ab muscles. This layer of fat will hinder your ab muscles from showing. In order to solve this, you need to pay close attention to your dieting so that you can get rid of the fat surrounding your ab muscles. 25% of your effort should be focused on exercising your ab muscles, while 75% should be focused on eating and dieting properly.

The diet plays the largest role in toning ab muscles. However, with so many diet programs out there, you might find it hard to pick the best one that might work for you. The secret is to eat certain foods that can help in decreasing the body fat. Most of the diet programs help individuals in cutting down their calorie intake. If your body cant get enough calories from the foods you eat, then the fat stored in your body (particularly in your stomach area) will be used. If you start eating properly, you can surely shed those unwanted fats.

If you are not 100% sure on what foods you need to eat, you should seek advice from your doctor or a nutritionist so that they can tell you what dietary meal plans will work best for you. Also, there are certain foods that provide fewer calories. Make an effort to learn about these foods so that you can add them to your meal plan. You want to get rid of those calorie pounding foods that do nothing but add more and more weight to your body. This is why you need to change your eating habits if you expect to burn the fat.

You will be naive to think that you do not have to workout your abdominal muscles in order to tone up your abs. The simplest ab exercise that works quite well in firming up the abs is known as the ab crunch. The ab crunch is simple, but many suffer from back pain when doing it. This is why some people perform ab crunches on an exercise ball. There are a number of free online videos that will show you how to properly use the exercise ball when working out your ab muscles. Try watching these videos and follow the instructions carefully if you expect to develop rock solid abs.

Abdominal muscles require the most patience to see any results with. It can take months before you start seeing that flat tummy and firm ab that you desire. But if you stick with your workout plan of exercising and dieting, then you should have hard firm abs in a few months. Just work towards shedding off as much fat around your stomach so that you can work on toning your ab muscles.
