P.O.R.N. Diets

I am coining this term as I feel some of the diets out there are so radical they need to be discussed in one place.

We here from our favorite celebrities daily and some of us live for this. We follow them on Twitter, talk about them on Bebo and MySpace or e mail each other about them especially when a new diet is talked about.

There have been some over the top radical diets in the past like the 'Air diet', not a very popular one for obvious reasons unlike the 'Chocolate' diet. Then there is the more main stream 'Atkins' diet or 'The Dash Diet' or even 'The South Beach Diet'. All have there plus and minus points and their advocates and nay sayers as well.

The trick when it comes to diets if there is a trick in selecting one would be to thoroughly research the topic. The mere fact that there literally are thousands of diets commercially available shown on television, billboards or even your local Chemist shop.

Here will be many, many articles pertaining to the topic of P.O.R.N. Diets circulating our media and your opinion on them is most welcome. Maybe you have been on one and would like to praise it or maybe warn others away from it. Whatever you may like to share, diet related, please do.

The Acai Berry Diet Weight Loss Success

I have found weight loss success with the acai berry diet. I wanted to share my story about how I was able to drop 45 pounds with the acai berry diet. I have been miserable and overweight since my early twenties where I picked up some very bad nutritional habits. I made the mistake of doing all of the wrong things my friends were doing like drinking wine, and staying up too late at night. I spent my days sleeping and eating junk food. I was not exercising or even going outside. I was a young woman, and this was no way to live.

I was totally throwing off any normal balance my body would have had. My weight skyrocketed, and so did my personality. I would eat whatever salt or sugar laden snack I could get. I stopped eating fresh fruits and vegetables, and turned to potato chips, and chocolate cupcakes and ice cream. I mistakenly thought that I would be able to keep the figure I had in high school, and could eat anything I wanted. I was really wrong. Because of the unhealthy weight gain and lifestyle I had adapted, I developed a major case of depression, and I sunk deeper into despair as days turned into weeks. Months went by, and I continued on this path to self destruction. My appearance, and my self image suffered.

I learned about the acai berry fruit from a program on television. It seemed to be a superfood with antioxidant cleansing properties, and it also appeared to be a good choice for people who needed to detox from weight gain and overindulgence. I started surfing the Internet and found several places where I could get a free trial. I paid less than $5 for shipping, and I got my first bottle of Acai Berry Edge only a few days later.

I began taking the acai berry diet supplement right away. I was determined to lose the weight, and feel like myself again. I gradually curbed my bad habits and began to take steps to lose weight permanently. I began by replacing the diet soda with water. I grabbed the biggest glass I could find, and filled it at least 8 to 10 times every day with ice water. I also stocked my refrigerator with fresh fruit, vegetables, and lean protein. I began mixing black beans, and foods high in fiber to my meals every day. I also made it a point to eat two fresh pieces of fruit every day. I took the supplements every day, and got at least an hours worth of exercise every 4 to 6 times a week.

I found my acai berry diet was so simple to follow. I simply took the acai berry diet supplement every day as the instructions said, and I ate several small meals throughout the day. My exercise routine was fun, and I could change it up every day. I also took it one step further, and began walking everyday.

As an added treat, I bought a few bottles of acai berry juice to make breakfast smoothies. I replaced my coffee habit with fresh fruit smoothies, and it gave me extra energy to workout longer.

Acai berries are an amazing fruit, and they are packed with so many components that are really good for you. The acai is completely natural, and the energy that acai berry products give me is simply incredible. The acai berry diet is not like a diet at all. Just by adding the acai diet supplements to my daily regimen, I have been able to live better. I feel like myself again, only better.

From the moment I began taking my acai berry diet supplement, I knew that I had found my own personal diet miracle. It made me feel alive again. I undid a lot of damage by changing my diet, adding the acai, drinking lots of water, and exercising. I probably added years to my life. By the end of the 6th week, I had lost 45 pounds. I feel amazing, and my attitude had changed completely. I got myself a whole new wardrobe, and I am ready to face the world again thanks to my acai berry diet plan.
