P.O.R.N. Diets

I am coining this term as I feel some of the diets out there are so radical they need to be discussed in one place.

We here from our favorite celebrities daily and some of us live for this. We follow them on Twitter, talk about them on Bebo and MySpace or e mail each other about them especially when a new diet is talked about.

There have been some over the top radical diets in the past like the 'Air diet', not a very popular one for obvious reasons unlike the 'Chocolate' diet. Then there is the more main stream 'Atkins' diet or 'The Dash Diet' or even 'The South Beach Diet'. All have there plus and minus points and their advocates and nay sayers as well.

The trick when it comes to diets if there is a trick in selecting one would be to thoroughly research the topic. The mere fact that there literally are thousands of diets commercially available shown on television, billboards or even your local Chemist shop.

Here will be many, many articles pertaining to the topic of P.O.R.N. Diets circulating our media and your opinion on them is most welcome. Maybe you have been on one and would like to praise it or maybe warn others away from it. Whatever you may like to share, diet related, please do.

Comparison Between Acai Berry Diet And Hoodia Diet

Because people in the weight loss niche are fond of making comparisons, the acai berry diet has already had more than its fair share of comparisons to some of the other majorly popular products in the online weight loss world.

An example of such a product is Hoodia. In fact, the disappointment that some have felt with Hoodia have made them far more conscious of the acai diet, in some cases to the point of not even being willing to try the product out.

While there is nothing wrong with a health sense of suspicion when it comes to new products, thinking that the acai berry and Hoodia are anything alike is just a sign of not knowing either one. The only thing they share in common is their popularity.

For example, the acai berry diet is one of the most respected online weight loss diets around. It has peer-reviewed scientific literature backing it up and it has the goodwill of many people that have tried the product out as well. Hoodia has worked for some people, but it has not worked for many as well. It also lacks a body of mainstream scientific literature to back it up, which puts the advantage squarely in the court of the acai diet as far as such things are concerned.

Another difference between the two has to do with the presentation. When Hoodia is presented, it is as a miracle drug that can cure everything. The original presentation of the acai diet was through the consumption of fruit berries. This, just through common sense, should be enough to illustrate how different the two approaches to weight loss actually are.

In the end, the acai berry is nothing like the Hoodia diet. The former is a serious diet plan that can help you achieve your weight loss goals now and the latter is a hyped up diet that seems to fail as often as it works. Results in both categories speak for the product in question and the acai berry diet has some amazing results to back up all of the claims that are made about the product.
