P.O.R.N. Diets

I am coining this term as I feel some of the diets out there are so radical they need to be discussed in one place.

We here from our favorite celebrities daily and some of us live for this. We follow them on Twitter, talk about them on Bebo and MySpace or e mail each other about them especially when a new diet is talked about.

There have been some over the top radical diets in the past like the 'Air diet', not a very popular one for obvious reasons unlike the 'Chocolate' diet. Then there is the more main stream 'Atkins' diet or 'The Dash Diet' or even 'The South Beach Diet'. All have there plus and minus points and their advocates and nay sayers as well.

The trick when it comes to diets if there is a trick in selecting one would be to thoroughly research the topic. The mere fact that there literally are thousands of diets commercially available shown on television, billboards or even your local Chemist shop.

How to Control Acne Outbreaks With Simple Diet Principles

Acne can be caused by numerous factors, but there are a few key causes that are very important to learn. Such factors are also responsible for pimples, whiteheads and blackheads related with acne. These all are mostly because of excessive production of sebum, obstruction of the skin orifices, action of usual skin microorganisms mostly bacteria, and inflammation of the skin. Sebaceous glands are among other causes of acne.

In retained sebum oil Propionobacterium acnes produce and replicate. Sebum provides growth and replication medium to Propionobacterium acnes. These bacteria also draw white blood cells from the blood. Inflammation of acne which appears at the skin as pimples, rashes or zits is just because of these bacteria. Facial inflammation can severely damage the cells and produce collagen. Thickening of the skin and scars formation can be because of collagen formation. On the other hand, collagen creation will be enhanced, which then causes these scars turn into more congealed. According to a recent report, hormones, diet, evolutionary biology, deficiency of the vitamins, stress are among the major causes of the Acne.

Acne can be caused because of a food having saturated fats. These foodstuffs mostly comprise of burgers from fast food restaurants, pizzas, meats having rich fats, French fries, and some other junk meals. If you eat these kinds of foods, your acne problem can become severe. Some vegetable oils are another acne producing foods. Various foodstuffs like pasta sauces, chips, and beans are cooked in vegetable oils. Vegetable oils cause acne by inhibiting anti-inflammatory hormone.

Acne can also be caused by sugar. Sugary sodas, cakes, cookies, chocolates, are rich in sugar content . Insulin level is increased after consumption of these sugary foods, creating conditions which can promote acne. Always try to avoid sugary foods if you want to reduce the likelihood of exacerbating your acne and take steps to eat a healthy, well balanced meals.

A pore cleanser can help most acne conditions to greatly improve. People with severly acne prone skin should use a dermatologist product in place of their normal shampoo, conditioner and shave cream.

The most important first step in treating acne is to carefully monitor what you eat. By controlling the type of foods you eat, you can help prevent the conditions which promote acne.
