P.O.R.N. Diets

I am coining this term as I feel some of the diets out there are so radical they need to be discussed in one place.

We here from our favorite celebrities daily and some of us live for this. We follow them on Twitter, talk about them on Bebo and MySpace or e mail each other about them especially when a new diet is talked about.

There have been some over the top radical diets in the past like the 'Air diet', not a very popular one for obvious reasons unlike the 'Chocolate' diet. Then there is the more main stream 'Atkins' diet or 'The Dash Diet' or even 'The South Beach Diet'. All have there plus and minus points and their advocates and nay sayers as well.

The trick when it comes to diets if there is a trick in selecting one would be to thoroughly research the topic. The mere fact that there literally are thousands of diets commercially available shown on television, billboards or even your local Chemist shop.

Here will be many, many articles pertaining to the topic of P.O.R.N. Diets circulating our media and your opinion on them is most welcome. Maybe you have been on one and would like to praise it or maybe warn others away from it. Whatever you may like to share, diet related, please do.

Starve Yourself Of Negative Diet Patterns - A Simple Technique Explained

The power of the mind has been well known to successful and fulfilled people for centuries. Experts of the sub conscious mind such as hypnotists have come up with ingenious ways that bypass the conscious mind and speak directly to the sub conscious. Often hypnosis is used to help people achieve their weight loss goals. In this article I will show you how to do that without any fancy hypnotist or high fees.

The most powerful force in any human being is the sub conscious mind. Think about when you began learning to drive, you had to think about every single thing in order to make the car go the way you wanted. Mirrors, indicators, gears, steering and lots more to think about all the time. Eventually, though these individual things became a habit. You repeated them so many times that you no longer had to consciously think about them. The manoeuvres were carried out on auto pilot by your sub conscious mind.

Well, what connection is there with that and losing weight? Well, if you use the concept of auto suggeston, you can help to reprogram your sub conscious to stay on a diet, to eat more healthy foods, to enjoy exercise and so many more things.

Many people fail to lose weight successfully because each and every time they try, they first program themselves to fail. They have probably had bad experiences previously, with shoddy diet ideas and eventually they tell themselves that the diet won't work for them and before long they give up. Cast your mind back to a new diet you have started in teh past. How long did you stay on the diet? Think to yourself honestly, was it long enough? Probably not.

I am now going to show you a techniques so that you can starve yourself of these negative thought patterns that are filling your sub conscious mind. It will help to retrain you, it will make you more positive about your weight loss plans and in turn that will help you to develop a tougher skin so that you no longer give up as soon as a diet does not give you huge and instant results.

Your thoughts and emotions are like signals. When you feel down about weight loss or your diet, and you start to tell yourself that you are always going to be overweight, you need to stop what you are doing and follow these simple steps.

Step One. You need to concentrate about what makes you feel you will always be overweight. You will get a picture in your mind. It could be many things, maybe how you feel when a diet does not go well, or maybe a vision of yourself in the future and you are not slim as you want to be.

Step Two. Concentrate on this image. This is your unconscious telling what it is that holds you back on your quest to lose weight. This is the image that you put into your sub conscious every time. You have programmed yourself to think like this and that is the reason that it is so easy to just give up the diet when you feel things are not so easy.

Step Three. Drain the colour from the image. Shrink it down in size and move it back into the distance. Repeat this proces if it reappears. Drain it, shrink it, send it into the distance.

Step Four. Replace this image with an image that shows you as you want to be. Healthy, fit and your perfect ideal weight. Get emotionally involved with this image, imagine how great it would feel to look like this. Make sure the image is in full colour and bring it closer to you.

Step Five. Hold your thumb and middle fingers together when you feel excited about this new you .

Now this may sound a little crazy, but this is a reall good technique for reprogramming your sub conscious. If you do this each and every time that you feel a little down about your weight loss or when you have negative thoughts, very soon it will be a habit.

You will eventually create a mind anchor and this will enable you to press together your thumb and middle fingers and get that excitement about the new, slim you. Whenever you feel negative about your dieting put your fingers together and your sub conscous will recognise the habit and use it to your advantage.

I do understand that at first this may seem very odd to you but it is actually based on the science of Neuro Linguistic Programing. This is not some silly idea thought up by an idiot. It is based on the science of the mind and it works in reprogramming yourself. Go on give it a try and stick with it!
