P.O.R.N. Diets

I am coining this term as I feel some of the diets out there are so radical they need to be discussed in one place.

We here from our favorite celebrities daily and some of us live for this. We follow them on Twitter, talk about them on Bebo and MySpace or e mail each other about them especially when a new diet is talked about.

There have been some over the top radical diets in the past like the 'Air diet', not a very popular one for obvious reasons unlike the 'Chocolate' diet. Then there is the more main stream 'Atkins' diet or 'The Dash Diet' or even 'The South Beach Diet'. All have there plus and minus points and their advocates and nay sayers as well.

The trick when it comes to diets if there is a trick in selecting one would be to thoroughly research the topic. The mere fact that there literally are thousands of diets commercially available shown on television, billboards or even your local Chemist shop.

Here will be many, many articles pertaining to the topic of P.O.R.N. Diets circulating our media and your opinion on them is most welcome. Maybe you have been on one and would like to praise it or maybe warn others away from it. Whatever you may like to share, diet related, please do.

Body Fat Loss: A Body Fat Loss Method You've Never Heard of

Body fat loss is something that is sought after by the millions of overweight and obese people across the globe. Weight issues are something that can be witnessed in almost every culture under the sun nowadays. Fortunately there are many who have chosen to take matters into their hands and make a change.

An absence of information on this subject is definitely not the case. An internet query of the words "weight loss" will return boat loads of results. Finding the right program for your needs may be a little more challenging.

People can get quite confused when faced with all the miraculous weight loss products nowadays. Every body and his brother has the answer on how to lose weight. So much of the information today seems to oppose itself on many points.

How come some of the body fat loss techniques help some people and not others? More than likely it would be that some were able to ride it long term while others fell off the wagon after a short time. A method that you can stay with on a long term basis is critical for your success.

It is true that there are some foods that are more beneficial to weight loss than others but the most critical point in any long term diet is cutting calories. Nobody wants to hear this but ,so far, reducing calories is the only scientifically proven method for safe, long term weight loss. It is just a matter of simple math...burn off more than you consume.

A method that has been working quietly behind the scenes for many years is one that only requires you to cut calories once or twice a week. You are allowed to eat normally for the rest of the week. No carrying around your "rabbit food" in Tupperware bowls.

This technique for losing weight looks at creating a calorie deficit for the week instead of trying to cut calories every day. You can take care of your weight loss "business" twice a week and be done with it. No more obsessing over calories and special foods for seven days a week.

This technique for achieving body fat loss is known as short term intermittent fasting. Once or twice a week you undertake a 24 hour fast from, say, supper time to supper time the following day and thus create a calorie reduction for that week which results in weight loss. While losing weight is a good benefit of this program it also has some anti aging advantages that you may want to research a little more.
