Our bodies have evolved throughout history to guard us from famine. That means that our bodies naturally conserve fat and energy to keep us alive in case there is no food obtainable. However efficient our bodies might be at doing this the fact is that these days the only famine that we ever go through is the self-imposed one from the limiting diets that we go on.
Although, our bodies do not know the distinction and our metabolisms end up slowing down and conserving all of the energy that it can. That is one cause why it gets harder and harder to lose weight with every ensuing diet.
The resolution to the quandary may be as simple as to discontinue the diet roller-coaster and start eating. In other words, start working with your natural biology and start eating the way your body was intended to eat.
The answer encompasses more than just eating however. The Standard American Diet or the apropos acronym SAD is to a great extent contributing to our problems with obesity and overweight. Our bodies were never designed to eat the bad for you, nutritionally void and processed foods that are so abundant in our way of life.
People were intended to eat the unsurprisingly healthy, wholesome foods from nature. This planet that we live on provides the foods that are optimal for our bodies including fruits, vegetables, whole grains and even fish and lean meats. The less processed and more natural a food is the better and more nourishing it is for our bodies.
Our anatomy was also designed to be in motion and exercise. Our ancestors spent most of their days up and about, moving around and our bodies are intended for that. If you aspire to lose weight and become healthier the solution is to take in both a beneficial diet with optimum nourishment and an exercise plan.
Fighting obesity, losing weight for good and creating optimum wellbeing starts with including the healthiest foods in nature into your diet and incorporating an exercise plan into your life. You will see the outcome and your body will thank you.
