One way is to reduce weight is to reduce your food intake, or at least reduce your carbohydrate intake. If you cannot abruptly change your eating habits, at least reduce them until such time that you have made the significant reduction to maintain the weight you are targeting for. Usually though you can eat plenty of food as long as you maintain a healthy diet.
